About Our Classes:

Infants- Age 3 is our most popular and award winning class. Children participate at their own level in classes that include singing, dancing, instruments, finger plays, music play and more! Small classes and knowledgeable teachers make this wide age range work well.

Ages 2-4 is our class for older children who are generally more active as well as physically and musically ready to do more advanced activities.

Your Class Experience:

You and your child will create long lasting, sweet memories thought the amazing experience of bonding through music play. Children expand their brains, musically and intellectually, and they get a chance for socialization. Children and caregivers participate by singing, dancing, listening and exploring musical instruments together in a fun-filled environment. Music selections are appropriate for children of all ages and movement activities are varied to meet each child's abilities. Tuition includes a CD and songbook.

Our CD's offer carefully selected children's folk music from around the world. The unique beat and sounds not only nurture a strong foundation for music; children and parents love to hear the songs over and over again.

Which class can I bring ALL my kids to?

Choose a class based on the age of your OLDEST child. Younger siblings are permitted in both classes. Our experience is that younger children adapt to the older class better than the older children adjust to the younger class.

Generous Refund Policy:

If for some reason you are not fully satisfied with your first class, we will refund your tuition as long as you call within 48 hours of your first scheduled class.

Faculty:

Margery Hesney, Director of Dresher and Elkins Park locations, was the Director of Music Together of the Philadelphia Area for 16 years. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from the State University of New York at Albany and a Master's Degree from Temple University. She is a violinist with several orchestras and chamber music ensembles and also plays the guitar and piano. Margery also sings in local musical theater productions.

Cynthia Rasmussen holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the School of Music and Performing Arts at Philadelphia Biblical University. She has studied voice with faculty from Juilliard and Temple University and currently is a soloist with the Bel Canto Lyric Opera Company. Cynthia taught Music Together classes to young children for many years and plays the autoharp.
